Delegates must Screen for: Chair, Associate Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Affirmative Action Officer, Directors and State Central Committee Delegates & Alternates from the 5th Dist. DFL NOTE:  February 26th from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Hibbing Park Hotel (or call office for appointment)

The Iron Range DFL Senatorial District 5 Office is located in Hibbing (at the former Range Technical School across from Ztech in Hibbing). Stop by to volunteer, pick up literature or to find out more about all of the candidates as they seek endorsement. These offices serve as the local headquarters for all campaign activities, so visit or call (218) 262-2008 to learn how you can help elect a proud and strong DFL ticket.

HIBBING, Minn.  -- The DFL WINS!! In the weeks leading up to the Nov. 4, 2008 election, we worked across the Iron Range with lawn signs, campaign literature and a healthy dose of enthusiasm for a huge DFL Victory.  It all paid off greatly as we make great gains across the Iron Range and the country. We hope that we can achieve the same great response and enthusiasm for a victories ahead!  But, that will take a great effort by all of us...so, please come join us!!!!

We know all too well what is at stake -- a better future for our country and region, jobs, funding for our small town schools, health care coverage for all Minnesotans. This election we of the Iron Range stand up for all DFL candidates because we know they will make great and good changes for the future.

We want to sincerely thank all of the volunteers that helped to make the phone calls and knock on the doors to make this victory possible in the past and hope that we can count on you again this election cycle. If you want to stay or get involved and participate in future campaigns and the political process, please give us a call or stop by one of our meetings.  We will post dates and times.  Call the 5th Senate District DFL Office in Hibbing at (218) 262-2008 to find out more. BIWABIK, Minn.  -- The fifth district DFL parade float and dozens of volunteers took part in parades across the Iron Range this summer.

Pictured at right, Fifth District Treasurer Joe Foster works on the DFL parade float, which will appear in parades across the Iron Range this summer. The float stresses the local DFL party's top priorities: Jobs for Iron Rangers, strong schools for all of Minnesota and health care for all citizens, regardless of age or income.
